FuboTV adding commercial-free streaming channels AMC Premiere and FX+

Virtual MVPD FuboTV is adding commercial-free streaming services AMC Premiere and FX+ to its roster of premium add-ons for subscribers.Through the partnership, FuboTV says it’s the first vMVPD to offer both services. AMC Premiere costs $4.99 per month and FX+ costs $5.99 per month.“Premium ad-free offerings like AMC Premiere and FX+ illustrate how fuboTV is able to take advantage of our next-gen platform to bring cord-cutters great content and experiences that many pay TV providers can’t—or won’t—provide,” said Ben Grad, fuboTV’s head of content strategy and acquisition, in a statement.Both FX+ and AMC Premiere are unique from other streaming services in that they require a pay TV subscription to access. Both services provide the same content as their corresponding linear channels but without the commercials.Customers who have the AMC channel through over 400 different cable, satellite or pay TV providers can subscribe to AMC Premiere. FX+ is available to Comcast Xfinity, Cox, PlayStation Vue, Armstrong, and Blue Ridge subscribers along with FuboTV.
