AMD Unveils 7nm Gaming GPU Radeon VII At CES 2019

Earlier in the week to mark the start of CES 2019 NVIDIA made its big announcement of the show, revealing the GeForce GTX 2060 GPU. Today, it was the turn of AMD, with the company unveiling its new gaming GPU the Radeon VII, alongside a new processor, the 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen desktop processor.The new GPU is based on AMD’s second-generation Vega architecture, providing a reported twice the memory, 2.1 X the memory bandwidth, up to 29 percent higher gaming performance, and up to 36percent higher performance on average when compared to the current top-of-the-line AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 graphics card.
