Comcast joins digital movie hub service Movies Anywhere

Movies Anywhere, a digital movie service run by Disney in partnership with Warner Bros., Universal, Sony Pictures and 20th Century Fox, has its first pay TV partner in Comcast.Comcast Xfinity subscribers will now be able to sync up their accounts and access their purchases from the Xfinity Digital Store through the Movies Anywhere platform. Movies Anywhere is available on the web and on Amazon Fire devices; Android devices and Android TV; Apple TV; Chromecast; iPhone, iPad and iPod touch; Roku devices, Windows 10 and Xbox devices.Comcast linking up with the service is notable since it’s the only traditional television distributor thus far to do so.
