HTC’s Viveport Infinity readies $13/month unlimited VR subscription service

HTC’s Viveport, the app marketplace for the company’s virtual reality goggles, on Thursday announced pricing for its upcoming Viveport Infinity unlimited VR subscription service.Infinity, which is launching April 2, will charge users either $12.99 per month or $99 per year for unlimited access to the more than 600 games and apps in the Viveport store. The company said that current members, including those with prepaid subscriptions and new members who sign up before April 2, will keep their current price through the end of 2019.In addition to unlimited access to VR apps and games, HTC said Infinity subscribers will also get to use the newly revamped Viveport video application. Viveport Infinity is available to both HTC Vive and Oculus Rift owners.
