PC Gaming is Now Ubisoft's Most Profitable Platform

PC gaming is now the best-performing platform for Ubisoft, overtaking the PlayStation 4 in terms of profitability, and the company said Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is "the industry's biggest hit" this year in terms of units sold for console and PC. Ubisoft's online shooter The Division 2 launched earlier this year, on March 15.Ubisoft has been one of the biggest publishers in gaming for some time now, and early 2019/late 2018 saw several significant releases for the company, including Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Starlink: Battle for Atlas, Just Dance 2019, Far Cry: New Dawn, The Division 2 and the PC-exclusive Anno 1800. Many of these games include microtransactions and DLC, increasing their sales potential for the company.
