STREAM PC GAMES TO SMARTPHONES WITH AMD LINK APP
An upcoming update to AMD's Adrenaline software will let gamers with AMD graphics cards stream PC games to their smartphones and tablets.AMD announced the new game-streaming feature on Thursday, touting it as a way to bring Radeon gaming quality to mobile devices. The service is essentially a remote desktop feature that lets you control your PC from your tablet or smartphone.Like existing remote desktop apps such as LogMeIn and GoToMyPC, the new AMD Adrenaline game-streaming service will give you full access to your desktop. You can control the mouse, click on icons, and more, all by tapping on your smartphone or tablet's screen.But unlike existing apps, the service is designed primarily for gamers. A new Game Explorer tab located within the AMD Link iOS or Android app shows every compatible game that's currently installed on your PC. Without using a cursor to click on a desktop icon, you can tap on each one in the list to either start a new game, or—if it's already open on your PC—continue where you left off. READ MORE
