2019 AUGMENTED AND VIRTUAL REALITY SURVEY REPORT
The vast majority of respondents think that by 2025, immersive technology will be as ubiquitous as mobile devices in the consumer market, with 39% saying they strongly agree with that statement and 47% saying they agree. Only 7% of respondents disagreed with the statement. Respondents found user experience, such as bulky hardware or technical glitches, to be the biggest obstacle for mass adoption of AR (26%) and VR (27%)—but that’s down from last year, when user experience was at 39% for AR and 41% for VR.
