History Channel adds free content to Xumo streaming platform

The History Channel is adding some select short-form video content to ad-supported streaming TV service Xumo. History’s shows are now viewable on channel 350.The content is also available through Channel Plus for LG and through smart TV, mobile, web and other streaming device integrations.“HISTORY is committed to telling stories that are both informative and entertaining all at the same time," said Stefan Van Engen, senior vice president of content at Xumo, in a statement. “This resonates with XUMO’s engaged audience; we’re excited to offer HISTORY’s short form programming in a free, lean back streaming environment."
