FanDuel Announces Market Access Partnership with Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment to Operate Sports Betting, iGaming and DFS in Connecticut
After all licensing and regulatory clearances, FanDuel Group and Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) announced intentions to bring America's #1 Sportsbook to the state of Connecticut. FanDuel Group will collaborate with Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment to offer retail and online sports betting, as well as iGaming and daily fantasy sports, to Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut.
This fall, Connecticut sports bettors and fans will have access to FanDuel's industry-leading online and mobile betting experience, with wagering choices available for professional football, basketball, baseball, hockey, and more. In addition, FanDuel will also provide an online casino experience under the Mohegan Sun brand and daily fantasy sports in Connecticut.
Inside Mohegan Sun will be a temporary retail Mohegan Sun / FanDuel Sportsbook with four live betting windows and sixteen self-service betting terminals. The companies want to establish the permanent Sportsbook site this winter, subject to regulatory approvals. Sports bettors and customers visiting Mohegan Sun will be able to enjoy the FanDuel Sportsbook retail experience that fans in other states have come to love, along with an amazing game-day atmosphere and wagering choices on a range of sports events.
