Location-Based Star Trek VR Experience Now Available At Dave & Busters

The U.S.S. Enterprise is in deep trouble. During a routine evacuation of an advanced stellar research center in the middle of the Klingon Neutral Zone, the premature collapse of a neutron star has left the famous vessel disabled and in danger. As the captain of Starfleet’s latest and most advanced ship, the U.S.S. Galileo, it’s up to you and your crew to protect the Enterprise from incoming star debris and an unknown Klingon threat.This is the plot to Star Trek: Dark Remnant, a new multiplayer location-based VR experience available exclusively at Dave & Buster’s. Developed by VRstudios in collaboration with partner Strange Reptile, Dark Remnant will have teams working together to operate the U.S.S. Galileo’s phasers, deflector shields, and sensors via a unique virtual interaction device. Controlling the ship from a “special research-observatory style bridge,” players will need to think on their feet and communicate effectively in order to take down the looming Klingon threat. Throughout the experience, players will be front-and-center for a series of captivating visual spectacles, such as close flybys from both the U.S.S. Enterprise and a Klingon Battlecruiser, as well as epic shots of a deepspace sector centered around a decaying neutron star.
