PlayStation Vue is Still Trying to Sell Its 500,000 Subscribers to Rival Services

On Monday Cord Cutters News learned that Sony still had PlayStation Vue assets up for sale. Sadly, not to keep the service running, but to sell off the tech behind the live TV streaming service. Today Multichannel News is reporting that sources say Sony is also trying to sell its subscriber base. According to sources Cord Cutters News has spoken with, Sony is offering to migrate over subscriber data to a new company for a price. Reports say multiple live TV streaming services are bidding on the ability to move PlayStation Vue’s 500,000 subscribers over. One source said that Sony would help the winning bidder move the subscribers who would get an extended free month of service with the new streaming service.
