Univision Launches Subscription Streaming Service
Univision launched a subscription streaming service to provide on-demand access to its Spanish-language programming and offer content from BBC Studios, RTVE, Televisa, Viacom and others.The new SVOD service, announced this morning at a press briefing, is an extension of Univision’s live streaming service, Univision Now. Existing pay TV subscribers can gain access to the on-demand library for an additional $2.99 a month. New digital subscribers who want access to to Univision’s linear programming and the on-demand content for $7.99.
