Verizon’s Oath launching Yahoo news content on Roku Channel

Verizon-owned Oath is planning to add livestreaming and VOD Yahoo news content to the Roku Channel."Yahoo" will have a suite of programs streaming within the Roku Channel app. The content will include programs from Yahoo News, Yahoo Finance, Yahoo Sports, HuffPost, RYOT and MAKERS.The new distribution opportunity for Yahoo comes as Oath continues investing in video across its brand ecosystem and expanded live programming in news, finance, sports and entertainment.Ad-supported free streaming news channels are becoming more and more numerous.
