Sinclair sets executive team for streaming service STIRR

Sinclair Broadcast Group is busy building out the management team for its upcoming streaming service STIRR, set to launch in early 2019.Today Sinclair named Adam Ware as general manager, Stacie Anthony as editor in chief and Ben Lister as director of content acquisitions and business development."We are confident that under the leadership of Adam, Stacie and Ben, we will be able to propel STIRR forward and solidify it as an industry-leading streaming service upon launch," said Christopher Ripley, Sinclair's president and CEO, in a statement. "The broadcast industry is rapidly changing, and with their collective expertise, we will be able to stay at the forefront of the latest technologies and services."Ware has been with Sinclair for several years now serving as head of digital media and business development for the company’s Tennis Channel. According to his LinkedIn page, he’s been working as general manager at Sinclair/STIRR since October 2017. Ware has also held various positions with UPN, Fox Broadcasting Company and Paramount Television.
