Backlight Launches Its New Organizational Structure

Backlight, a software development company, has recently launched its new organizational structure of two divisions: Backlight Creative, a media collaborative software platform for iconik, Celtx, and ftrack product lines, and Backlight Streaming, an OTT video management, monetization, and distribution software platform for Zype and Wildmoka solutions. This new divisional structure organizes respective products and collaborative teams across shared markets, media workflows, and clients for innovation, gaining business reach, and growth.

Backlight Creative collaborates, secures, and manages media content through its iconik, celtx, and ftrack product lines, offering streamlined creative workflows and delivering visions accurately and within budget for creative video teams in film, TV, gaming, agencies, and their clients.

Backlight Streaming provides cloud-native solutions for video management, clip creation, monetization, hyper-distribution, and OTT streaming. Its full-stack software solutions transform, dissolve, manage, monetize, and distribute live and on-demand video through its Zype and Wildmoka product lines, connecting content owners like media publishers, broadcasters, and content providers to almost all marketplaces worldwide.

President and CEO of Backlight, Ben Kaplan, said, "This new divisional organizational structure will enable Backlight to better serve our rapidly growing customer base with larger, more aligned teams and differentiated, integrated solutions." He added, "The complementary nature and strategic synergies of our different acquisitions were central to Backlight's original strategy and have been proven out over the past 18 months. The entire Backlight team is excited about the value that this new organizational structure will drive for our customers."
