Sports Emmy Nominations: ESPN Leads The League, With CBS & Fox Tied For 2nd

ESPN‘s channels scored 54 Sports Emmy nominations today, the most of any network group, while CBS’ Army-Navy football game, ESPN’s SC Featured and ESPN2’s E60 tied for the most-nominated program.The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced the nominees today for the 39th annual Sports Emmy Awards in 40 categories. Among the network groups, NBC and Fox were a distant second with 31 noms apiece, followed by NBC Sports Group (28) and Turner Sports (19).
