Topgolf Entertainment Group Announces South American Expansion Through New Partnership

Topgolf Entertainment Group, the worldwide leader in sports and entertainment, announced another significant milestone in its global growth path by entering into a development agreement with TG Latam (TGLA). Topgolf intends to establish facilities in certain South American countries, starting with Bogotá, Colombia, with this partner.

Topgolf welcomes the TGLA developer, headed by three founders and principals: Freddy Alcantara, Carlos Alcantara, and Ignacio Arcaya, as the business extends its worldwide franchise model. The group, which is all Venezuelan-born and has significant regional and worldwide business expertise, has extensive experience in the golf, entertainment, and technology sectors, focusing on the customer experience, which aligns well with the Topgolf vision. In addition, with significant local real estate networks and extensive professional backgrounds, TGLA is ideally positioned to provide the best-in-class Topgolf experience that guests have come to know and love to additional areas worldwide.

The first Topgolf facility owned and managed by TGLA will open in Bogotá, Colombia, in the country's center. Topgolf's trademark technology will be used in 102 climate-controlled outdoor hitting bays at the multi-level entertainment venue.

Topgolf now runs 70 locations globally, including 64 in the United States, three in the United Kingdom, and one in Australia, Mexico, and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai). There are also plans to open new franchised sites across Asia and Central Europe, with locations presently under construction in Oberhausen, Germany, and Bangkok, Thailand.
