VR Furballs Coming To Oculus Quest & PlayStation VR In 2019

After entering Early Access in April, indie developer Gamily Studios debut virtual reality (VR) experience VR Furballs – Demolition has now been fully released for HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Windows Mixed Reality headsets. The team has also confirmed that the title will be ported to PlayStation VR and standalone headset Oculus Quest in 2019.VR Furballs – Demolition is a cute, family friendly, casual videogame that takes its inspiration from titles like Angry Birds where you have a selection of super fluffy furballs with which to destroy structures which are harboring some nasty looking red spiky creatures.Gamily Studios has managed to squeeze quite a bit of content into VR Furballs – Demolition, ensuring a good few hours of gameplay. A purely single-player experience, the main campaign features 54 levels with nine playable Furballs with their special abilities to choose from, and six weapons plus six accessories to use on the Furballs. Weapons include a slingshot, tennis racket, and gun, while the accessories feature mushrooms, bullet time, drones and a radar. There are also six mini-games should you want a break from the main campaign, and if you want to get creative then there’s a level editor to make even more difficult challenges for yourself.VRFocus previewed the Early Access version, saying at the time: “It might still be in development but VR Furballs – Demolition already feels like it’s virtually finished. Gamily Studios has managed to take that core gameplay loop from Angry Birds and make it work in VR. VR Furballs – Demolition is quite possibly the best version of this videogame genre available for VR headsets today and it’s not even finished yet.” Now that it is finished, we’ll bring you our final thoughts soon.
