Z Capital Partners Announces Merger of Affinity Gaming and Sports Information Group Creating Affinity Interactive

Z Capital Partners, L.L.C., the private equity arm of Z Capital Group, L.L.C.L.L.C., a leading privately-held asset manager, announced today the merger of two of its affiliated portfolio companies: Affinity Gaming, a diversified national casino gaming operator, and Sports Information Group, L.L.C.L.L.C. ("SIG"), a New York-based B2B and B2C global omnichannel sports, technology, digital, media, and wagering business. The purchase will be completed in the following weeks, but the terms have not been disclosed.

SIG is a global, multi-media information company committed to providing quality data-driven content and in-depth digital coverage to horse racing enthusiasts, with an online and mobile presence in almost 40 states. SIG's main brand, Daily Racing Form ("DRF"), has been the main source of information in the horse racing industry since 1894 and is widely regarded as the industry's go-to resource.DRF's website is the most actively accessed horseracing destination, offering players the most exhaustive horse racing information, previous interactive performances, proprietary handicapping tools, and access to DRF Bets, one of America's fastest-growing online and mobile wagering platforms. In addition, through its brand DRF Sports, SIG also provides sports data and digital analytics.

The combination of Affinity's leading regional casinos in Nevada, Missouri, and Iowa, as well as SIG's advanced technology, digital and media platforms, and online betting presence, will position Affinity Interactive as a leader in today's gaming industry, with a world-class digital offering with significant growth opportunities.

The combination will result in a broader range of casino and online gaming options, including social gaming, mobile gaming, iGaming, and sports betting. In addition, the combined Company will reach over one million clients in the United States alone, using the legendary DRF brand as it capitalizes on the worldwide momentum in sports betting and iGaming. Mary Beth Higgins, C.E.O.C.E.O. of Affinity Gaming, and Itay Fisher, C.E.O.C.E.O. of SIG, will continue to oversee their respective businesses.
