Launched in July 1974 in Argentina by Pedro Felix Leda, Ledafilms S.A. is recognized as one of the leading media companies in Latin America, with offices in Buenos Aires and Los Angeles (through its subsidiary Independent International Television, Inc.)A few months after Ledafilms was launched, the company was appointed by Twentieth Century Fox International TV as its sales agent for Argentina, Uruguay, Bolivia and Paraguay. The company worked with Fox for 22 years, up until 1996. In 1998 Ledafilms was appointed sales agent for DreamWorks SKG, a relationship which continued for 17 years, including from 2006 to 2015 when DreamWorks had been acquired by Paramount Pictures.
